Właściciel nowego mieszkania/ New landlord

Mamy bardzo fajnego właściciela mieszkania. Jest totalnym przeciwieństwem naszej byłej najemczyni, która tylko po kasę przychodziła, przeliczała ja z trzy razy, po czym podziwiała 2 kwiaty, które musieliśmy podziwiać, a na odchodne na odczepkę się pytała, czy wszystko OK. Pracowała dla rządu, ciężko się z nią było skontaktować i porozumieć, bo poziom angielskiego był bardzo podstawowy. Do tego nie załatwiła naprawy sufitu przez 4 miesiące.

Nasz nowy właściciel jest spoko. Sam się zresztą śmieje, że nie jest typowym Rumunem i jest bardziej wyluzowany. Mieliśmy mu wysłać kopie paszportów, więc wysłam nam swojego maila o treści:
“Tak więc to jest mój oficjalny adres mailowy. Jestem szczęśliwy, że w naszym ukochanym mieszkaniu mieszkają mili ludzie [to o mnie i Nuno]. Mam nadzieję, że będziemy dla siebie kimś więcej niż wynajmujący-najemca. “
Już przy pierwszym spotkaniu (mieszkanie pokazała nam wcześniej jego żona) zaprosił nas na grilla (ale w niedzielę po 5 godzinnych zakupach w Ikei i Carrefurze byliśmy padnięci).

Okazało się też, że nasz wynajmujący jest rumuńskim celebrity. Odkrył to Nuno przypadkiem, jak Cosmin (nasz właściciel) wyslał maila, a w stopce było pełno odniesień, do facebooka, twittera, strony internetowej. Nuno zaintrygowany wszedł na stronę i odkrył, że jest on w zespole Cassa Loco, który jest znany w Rumunii (Anda i Romina od razu wiedziały o kim mówię, nasz właściciel podobno też jest najśmieszniejszy z całej trójki). Zespół, z tego co się zorientowałam, wyśmiewa konsumizm rumuński i inne dolegliwości współczesnego społeczeństwa. Ostatnia płyta ma tytuł “Mall” czyli centrum handlowe, gdzie toczy się teraz prawdziwe życie, według niektórych.

We have a very nice new landlord. He is the complete opposite of our former landlady, who were just coming for 5 minutes, only for money, which she counted three times, sometimes commented on the flowers (that we didn’t forget to water) and leaving she used to ask „everything ok?” She worked for the government, it was difficult to contact her and communicate with her, cause her English was very basic. And she didn’t manage to make our ceiling inn the kitchen repaired in more than 4 months. Our new owner is really cool. He explains it, laughing, that he is more easy going than a typical Romanian, and that he is not really typical representative of the country. When we had to sent him copies of our passports, he sent us email: „So, this is my official mail. I'm very glad that we have some really nice guys [it’s about me and Nuno] staying in our beloved apartment. We hope that will be more than tenant - owner."

Already at the first meeting (cause it was his wife who had shown us the flat), he invited for the barbecue (but on Sunday after a five-hour shopping at Ikea and Carrefour, we were dead tired).
It also turned out that our landlord is a Romanian celebrity. Nuno discovered this by accident, as Cosmin (our landlord) sent the e-mail, and at the footer there were many link to pages on Facebook, Twitter, web site. Nuno was intrigued and entered the site where he discovered that there is a band, Cassa Loco, which is known in Romania (Anda and Romina immediately knew of whom I was talking, and apparently our landlord is the funniest of the trio). The band, from what I realized, makes fun of consumerism in Romania and other things that characterize the modern society. Their last album is called "Mall" and it is about the shopping center, that means, about the place where nowadays real life takes place, according to some people.
